Review by hotel critic
Chales Recanto Da Cachoeira offers a peculiar blend of value and comfort that could appeal to various travelers. Situated near nature, the hotel boasts beautifully designed chalets with spacious sitting areas and a lovely terrace-ideal for enjoying the surrounding views. The mini-bar options were adequate for late-night refreshments. Room service was reliable, though not extensive; you may need to venture out to explore better dining options nearby to immerse yourself in the local culture. Free parking is a definite plus for those road tripping, which I found to be particularly valuable for exploring nearby archaeological sites. While the price is on the higher side compared to local alternatives, the serene atmosphere and well-maintained grounds justify the expense. For budget travelers willing to splurge occasionally, this could be a worthwhile choice offering a taste of luxury without breaking the bank.
